Hydrogeological Investigations

Before drilling it is important to determine the geology and groundwater conditions at the site to establish available water resources quantities and  water quality.

To do this our Hydgrogeological team will conduct an intensive review of the existing geological information in your area.

At Wyatts we have access to the British Geological Survey resources, but also have an advantage of using our own unique borehole record database. This includes more than 2,500 historical well logs collected since 1879, when the company was established.

The standard Wyatts borehole log contains information about site geology, standing and pumping water levels, pumping rates, construction details, and in some cases, notes about water quality. Therefore, the Wyatts borehole prognosis contains more practical information.
